Philip Yancey

Founder / President

Philip’s Story

Philip Yancey is dedicated to revolutionizing direct-to-consumer media with innovative strategies and sophisticated platforms. With over 15 years of leadership at iHeart Media (formerly Clear Channel) in Southern California, Philip transitioned to entrepreneurship, founding CMG in 2009. Under his guidance, CMG grew from $10 million to nearly $100 million in annual revenue before selling to a private equity firm in 2023. Now focused on ventures like Replay Sports and media investments in Charlotte, Philip continues to explore new horizons in advertising.

He enjoys time with his wife Amy and their twin sons, Austin and Trevor, engaging in sports like basketball, baseball, golf, skiing, and tennis. A passionate traveler, he has international experience and professional pursuits.

Jennifer Miller-Baten

Director of Strategy and Growth

Jen’s Story

With over 15 years of agency experience, Jennifer has worked with both brand and Direct Response clients, excelling in strategy and plan development across various mediums, including Broadcast Radio, Network Radio, National TV, Cable, Podcasting, CTV, and Streaming. Her career began in New Business Development, igniting her passion for creating impactful campaigns for clients ranging from ambitious startups to industry giants. Jennifer balances strategic media audit and team leadership to set and surpass goals, fostering excellence and innovation.

A graduate of San Diego State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (Marketing) and a specialization in Integrated Marketing Communications, Jennifer combines her education with extensive hands-on expertise to deliver efficient, results-driven media solutions.

As the driving force behind the Team, she thrives on motivating others to achieve their best while pushing boundaries.

Outside work, Jennifer enjoys traveling, classic films, skincare, a great beverage, and spending time with her beloved dogs in her dog friendly world.

Stefan Keim

Senior Account Manager

Stefan’s Story

Stefan Keim brings 9 years of agency experience and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a Marketing concentration from the University of Oregon. He specializes in client management and media strategies, including terrestrial radio, XM, digital audio, endorsements, network radio, and CTV. Stefan has worked with clients across education, mortgage, jewelry, home improvement, and men’s health industries. Known for his dedication and expertise, he consistently delivers impactful campaigns.

Fun fact: Stefan completed his first full marathon - the LA Marathon, in Spring of 2025.

Erick Rivera

Senior Media Analyst

Erick’s Story

Erick specializes in fostering strong client partnerships, designing strategic media plans, and achieving impactful, measurable results. A natural problem-solver with an almost fervent need to optimize, Erick brings over a decade of experience at a top marketing agency, excelling in campaign analysis, optimization, and account management for multi-million-dollar initiatives.

Proficient in analytics tools such as LeadsRx, TvSquared/Innovid, Salesforce, and Tableau, he has expertly managed media across diverse platforms, including Broadcast and Network Radio, Podcasts, OTT, CTV, and Programmatic Channels. Erick has a proven track record of scaling local campaigns into national successes, even under challenging conditions like the COVID-19 pandemic.

Outside of work, Erick is passionate about outdoor adventures, enjoying hiking, camping, and competing in archery. He also spends his free time target shooting and working on cars and motorcycles.

Monique Sanchez

Senior Account Manager

Monique’s Story

Monique “Mo” Sanchez, brings over 12 years of expertise in the advertising industry, specializing in direct response, branding, education and both B2B and DTC campaigns. With a degree in Journalism and Public Relations from California State University, Northridge, Monique excels in developing and deploying advertising strategies that maximize ROI and ROAS. Her experience spans across national and local audio, Network radio, podcasts, live reads, and endorsements. Known for her critical thinking, attention to detail, and organization, she thrives in fast-paced environments managing multiple accounts and building strong relationships with clients and vendors.

Outside of work, Monique enjoys attending concerts, sporting events, going to Disneyland, and spending quality time with family and friends.

Jason Radovan

Senior Director, Sales

Jason’s Story

Jason Radovan is a senior sales leader with a proven history of driving revenue growth through strategic digital advertising initiatives, including SEM, social, display, programmatic, podcasts, and CTV solutions. As Sr. Director of Digital Sales at Sinclair, he was chosen to lead the Central U.S. markets selling advanced data-driven AdTech solutions, using an omni-channel approach, driving revenue to over $30 million over 3 years. Previously, Jason led enterprise sales on the West Coast for iHeart, advancing podcast and programmatic audio revenue during the pandemic. A two-time President’s Club winner at Hearst Corporation, he helped launch its first in-house agency and spearheaded key partnerships like Facebook.

Outside of work, Jason enjoys golf, tennis, traveling, and time with family.

Lupe Jimenez

Senior Account Manager

Lupe’s Story

Guadalupe, known as “Lupe,” is a collaborative leader dedicated to delivering exceptional value to clients. With over a decade of experience, including a successful tenure at CMG, Lupe has led comprehensive media buying strategies across radio, TV, podcasts, streaming, and OTT/CTV platforms. A highlight of her career was establishing an OTT/CTV and traditional TV department, creating new revenue streams, and expanding service offerings.

Lupe excels in client relationship management, strategic planning, and budget oversight, ensuring impactful and data-driven advertising solutions. She’s passionate about fostering team growth, refining processes, and staying ahead of industry trends.

When not at work, Lupe enjoys time on her road bike, she has a personal goal set for 2025 to pedal for 100mi on a single solo ride with a minimum average speed of 16mi/hr.

Sherman Wellons

VISUAL PROBLEM SOLVER

Sherman’s Story

Sherman Wellons, a seasoned multimedia designer and founder of Inertiart Studios, has dedicated his career to creating innovative visual solutions for clients like Coca-Cola, Toyota, AT&T, and non-profits. His passion for design began with comic books and was nurtured during a graphic design scholarship at Carnegie Mellon University. With a degree from the University of Georgia, Sherman refined his expertise in multimedia and animation.

As Media Director at IBM, he led award-winning teams and mastered emerging technologies. Now at Instinctive Media Group, Sherman combines creativity and technology to deliver impactful, accessible designs.

When not in front of a computer, he enjoys visiting spas, exploring global cuisines, hiking, and lifting weights.

Brandon Bishopp

Accounting & Finance Manager

Brandon’s Story

Brandon Bishopp is a CPA with over 10 years of experience across public accounting, transaction advisory, and small business finance. He holds both a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Master of Accountancy, and is licensed in North Carolina.

He began his career as an auditor at CliftonLarsonAllen (CLA), a top 10 national firm, and later transitioned into transaction advisory services. Brandon brings deep expertise in general ledger accounting, GAAP compliance, financial reporting, and stakeholder communication.

He’s known for his collaborative approach and practical financial insights that help organizations maintain compliance and improve overall performance.

Outside of work, Brandon enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters, following Charlotte sports teams, and getting outdoors.

Susie Cates

Susie’s Story

With 20 years of experience and a proven track record of billing over $35 million annually, she specializes in cultivating strong client relationships, crafting strategic media plans, and delivering measurable results. Her expertise spans both digital and traditional media, enabling her to lead teams in executing innovative campaigns that consistently exceed client expectations. Throughout her career, she has also cultivated valuable industry relationships, including key strategic partnerships with vendors, further enhancing her ability to drive success and contribute to her company’s growth. Known for her strategic vision and results-driven approach, she brings a blend of creativity and precision to every project, ensuring success for clients across diverse industries.

Off the clock, she enjoys biking or hiking with her husband, exploring new places, savoring great food, and embracing her passion as a mostly vegetarian foodie.
